From Whispers to Roars is a Denver-based literary magazine. While we are based in Denver, we publish work by writers and artists who are from all over the world!

All submissions will be read blindly - we do this to ensure fairness. Any submissions containing identifying marks will not be considered, and your submission fee will not be refunded.

We do consider simultaneous submissions. Please let us know if your work is accepted elsewhere.

Establishing a new magazine requires a financial burden - from purchasing a URL, to creating a trademark, and the legal assistance needed to secure publishing rights. Your submission fees help us to grow and thrive as a young publication.

Those accepted will be accepted as is or will include feedback with suggestions (which must be made in order for a final acceptance).

In the future, as we become a hardcopy publication, we expect that sponsorships and advertising will cover these fees. Thank you for understanding, as we hope to grow and thrive, and this can't happen without your support.

We consider the following for publication:

Fiction & Nonfiction: We accept fiction and nonfiction submissions less than 3,000 words.

Poetry: We accept poetry of any length.

Artwork & Photography: We accept artwork and photography submissions.

*From Whispers To Roars will require First Electronic Publication Rights. As soon as the Issue is published, all rights will revert back to the author.
